Ancient Wisdom for Modern People, an Online Conversation with N.T. Wright

In our daily experience of a broken world in need of renewal, the promises of Scripture can seem distant. We know there is nothing new under the sun, but each day brings disorienting new challenges. How can words spoken to ancient people offer a way for us to see more clearly, and even be part of, God’s work in the world today?

In an Online Conversation with N.T. Wright, we’ll explore Isaiah’s profound prophecies and what their “now and not yet” fulfillment can mean in our lives. Discussing his new book Into the Heart of Isaiah, we’ll discover three key movements: the original revelation of Israel’s God; the early Christian understanding of Jesus; and Paul’s vision of the church’s role in implementing the new covenant. From this ancient wisdom, Prof. Wright will help us to understand our part in God’s grand narrative today.
