FALL 2026
The Machine Stops by E.M. Forster
E.M. Forster’s The Machine Stops is a prescient and chilling short story that imagines a future where humanity lives in isolation, dependent on technology for all needs—and cut off from real connection. This Trinity Forum Reading raises urgent questions about progress, control, and what it means to be truly human. A compelling exploration for our increasingly digital age.

Don’t Let Nobody Turn You Around
Justin Giboney | July 24
In a climate of polarized politics, many Christians find it difficult to navigate civic engagement while seeking to pursue justice and avoid fueling conflict. On July 24, Justin Giboney, author, attorney, and political strategist, will join us to discuss his new book Don’t Let Nobody Turn You Around: How the Black Church’s Public Witness Leads Us Out of the Culture War. Justin argues that the Black Church provides a model that shows how Christians can faithfully engage in politics and pursue justice without abandoning Christian virtues. Justin is the founder of the And Campaign, a non-partisan organization that aims to prepare Christians for faithful civic engagement while reflecting the Gospel, rejecting tribalism, and pursuing justice.
