How do we cultivate character and courage in an age of increasing division, distraction, and disorientation? What does it mean to live wisely amidst the unique challenges of our time?
We invite you to join fellow young leaders, students, and recent graduates to ask these questions through a forum hosted by the Trinity Forum and Pepperdine University on “Character & Courage in the 21st Century” in Washington, DC on November 1st.
In the course of this gathering, which will be conducted in the form of a Socratic Forum, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on and discuss the unique challenges to character formation of our time, ways the personal and civic character is formed (and re-formed), the relationship between character and justice, and models of courage that might inform our lives and decisions. Moderated by Trinity Forum President Cherie Harder and author and historian Joseph Loconte, the discussion will draw on key classical and contemporary literature to help us wrestle with these questions.
The forum will take place from 9 am – 4 pm at the Trinity Forum and breakfast and lunch will be provided.
We are grateful to be partnering with the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy!
